Together with Westfield Doncaster we created an interactive exhibition to highlight Candice Lakes photography campaign ’ Street style’, as a part of the L’Oréal Melbourne Fashion Festival. This showcased a series of street portraiture fashion photographs, capturing 10 Australian style icons including Rebecca Judd, Samantha Harris and Nick Bracks.
The photographs were housed within our ’cool theatre’, a series of curious, free standing camera light boxes that formed a 360 view of the street style portraits within Westfield.

‘AT DAWN WE RIDE’
Inspired by the 70′s Señorita we transformed the stage with bursts of colour, pattern prints and the layers of ruffled gingham.
Metres and metres of hand crafted b+w ruffled gingham lines the walls from floor to ceiling using a total of 380metres of fabric. A series of beautiful leather saddles designed by Lucienne (one of our team glossettes) on this occasion stand tall within the space on extremely high legs, embroidered with bright authentic cool prints and embellished with pom pom binding. Leather floral and tambourines suspended throughout the space, tambourines chime in the wind, whilst the occasional passer by plays a tune or two.
This Installation is currently showcased at Sportsgirl Bourke St Melbourne and Pitt St Sydney.
